We are back but wish we were still in France!  Our trip was fabulous and exceeded all our expectations!! Thank you very, very much for taking all the time you did to plan such a great trip. The drivers and guides were really fantastic!  We especially liked our guide/driver that took us to Perouges and Lake Annecy! We also loved eating at Auberge Pere Bise Restaurant in Talloires.  (Michelin** restaurant)  The Hotel Negresco also has a Michelin** restaurant and we ate there too.  They both were fabulous and such a great French dining experience!!

The vineyard tour was the best yet......we had a full gourmet lunch at a table in the vineyard amongst the vines complete with bottles of their wine. They dropped us off there set it all out for us and then left us alone for almost two hours. It was amazing.

Dear Edwige, Marine, Nicole, and ALL staff involved,

 A lovely letter to share from our Honeymooners, who were with you August 6-17, 2017.

 There is no question, “Travel takes a Village”, and you are all part of my village!  I could have Never succeeded without your help, advise, and knowledge.

First and foremost, I want to apologize for my delayed update on our absolutely amazing honeymoon to France. When Rob and I got home from the trip I think we were both so overwhelmed with  just how amazing it was we needed a few days (or weeks) for it to truly settle in and for our systems to absorb how phenomenal everything from the views, the guides, the hotels, the food, and the travel accommodations all were. The trip truly flowed seamlessly from beginning to end and you and the amazing team at We France are all to thank.

From the moment we touched down in France to when we left Les Lodges all our needs were taken care of at a level Rob and I are definitely not use to ;). All the properties were beyond perfect and we cannot thank you enough for the beautiful room in Paris. Rob and I loved coming back to the room each night and having a nightcap in the room while we watch the Eiffel Tower glitter off in the distance. On our last night in Paris we definitely stayed up late to see the final grand showing of the lights before it turned off for the evening. This was such a special moment for us that I know we will remember it for years to come. 

Rob and I truly loved all the properties we stayed at and experiences built into our itinerary. However, I would say that our favorite day (and it is truly hard to pick just one) was with our Provence guide touring the chateauneuf du pape wine region and ending the day at the goat farm. He was such an engaging guide and made every moment truly memorable. For example, he made sure to have a bottle of wine for us to drink while we were sampling cheese at the goat farm and provided us with real wine glasses to use in the car on the drive back to the hotel that evening. He picked a very scenic road to drive us home on that had these beautiful trees canopying over the streets. It was truly just a great day!

 I think I could probably write you a novel about everything we experienced but would love to chat with you to give more specific details about our travels.

Thank you again for making this such a special trip for Rob and me. I realized I had forgotten what it felt like to me completely stress free and this trip was a great reminder of that feeling. I truly believe it was your attention to detail and accommodations that helped us experience such bliss on our travels

Bruce!  Yesterday was absolutely the high light of our trip!  Paolo, our guide, was the best guide ever.  The most amazing thing happened:  we ended up in the very house where my father spent some time right after he got to Normandy.  (The whole story is too complicated to explain.)  It was very moving for me, of course, and the ladies I am traveling with were moved too.)  Just think—he was there 74 years ago.

The whole trip has been wonderful—everything has met or exceeded our expectations.  THANK YOU.

The guide in Strasbourg was great and the guide for the villages in Alsace was phenomenal. Oh, and the cooking class--Lauren was giving me a hard time about doing it, but we both loved it. Joelle, the teacher, is so lively and animated. It was fun and the food we made for lunch was one of our best meals.

 our guide in Annecy, is great and a real trip.  She grew up in California and moved to Annecy when she married a Frenchman.  She is new to the tourist industry, but we have a terrific time with her. I really want to return to Annecy at some point--one of the most beautiful places we've been.

I just wanted to say thank you for your help and advise about Paris. We had a wonderful time! The activities were fantastic, the driver, Fredrick was amazing! He took us on the drive around Paris and to Versilles. We had the best meal before Versailles in this cute village that Fredrick found. The kids were blown away, ! Dominic was great too. Thanks again, it was an unbelievable trip.

First, the bottom line – “ it was the best ever”.  Everything went just right, every time, with absolutely no question or concern!

 It started with Carol being taken to the infirmary at CDG and cared for without question, and our being met and whisked through a two hour wait at immigration and passport control in less than five minutes at CDG.

Every guide,  was knowledgeable, informative, and most helpful.  Every reservation, hotel, train, car rental, tour, and dining experience were honored and, in every case, we were given first class treatment.  The accommodations were excellent and the suggestions for dining put us into great adventures.  Although we dined in at most hotels, we did venture out for memorable events at a number of restaurants.  We enjoyed having the chiefs come out of the kitchen to greet us and be photographed with us – I have said “ I think we bought the place in at least two instances”.  - ( In Beaune, the owner/chef gave us each a personalized apron and I think we were invited to join in the preparation. That’s what I seem to remember!)

We are most appreciative of your sending us the Michelin green guide books and the maps.  Carla took over guide duties in Provence and did a masterful job with the aid of that material.

I think we did our part to improve the economic health of every place we visited.  From picnic outings, wine and food purchases, Hermes scarves, olive oil, gifts for little ones, to expressing our appreciation for courtesies received, it was a love affair with the people we encountered.  We gave and received much information from almost everyone we encountered including two wielders from Tulsa OK who had been working on a nuclear power plant for two months to an SMU manager recruiting in France for foreign student participation in Dallas at the airport. (Carla is a people magnet.)

Sally, you did a super job and WeTravel France did as well.  I am very impressed with the attention to detail and planning that went into this trip.  We followed the ​itinerary​ closely and it was very precise.  I feel we received value for every dollar/euro we spent and that is what, I know, you want your clients to have on your trips.

My preference is for first class and I don’t mind paying for it – not going over the top as some do – but receiving the value for the expenditure which was certainly delivered on this trip.

We probably can receive more training on train riding as we mixed it up with some recusant Frenchman who occupied our seats on the train from Avignon to Paris but Jim put the evil eye on them and sent them into second class with dispatch.  The trail station in CDG and the short walk to the Sheraton with departure the next morning was a happy and relieving end to our travels.  Your suggestions for train rather than driving were spot on.

 What more can I say?  Thanks again, for your thoughtful, caring, well executed adventure for us through the marvelous Country of France.

 On Wednesday, Sef again took us to the train station for our trip to Paris, where we were met by Emerick.  Paris was busy and crowded and it was wonderful to have an experienced, english speaking driver.  We had a wonderful day, exploring various areas in Paris, as well as a visit to the Eiffel Tower. 

 For our first family trip to a foreign country, we couldn’t have asked for better planning.  We packed so much into our days and that was directly related to the well planned tours, train tickets and hotel bookings.  We loved our time abroad and will look forward to using your services again in the future.

 I copied Edwige as well – M/M X stopped in briefly and had one word, STELLAR.  They loved their experience and particularly their guide.  They did say they were quite surprised at the pricing in France, thought perhaps things would be lower in cost but now have me thinking about next year for them!  Everything went off like a charm and every experience was simply terrific. 

I can’t thank you all enough – we are a wonderful team and together, we can really impact peoples lives
